Notice-Clarification on Indian Citizenship Renunciation

Those foreign nationals of Indian origin who have already acquired citizenship of any other country are not eligible to renounce their Indian citizenship. Therefore, the Indian origin persons, who have already acquired Italian citizenship, do not need to apply for renunciation of Indian Citizenship. They are only required to surrender their Indian passport.
